Applying heat on a bite works to reduce itching and pain by interrupting the nerves transmission of stimuli.
As the itch signal is no longer transmitted properly the need to scratch disappears.

While everyone and every bite is different, heat it® is scientifically tested with proven results making it a safe and trustworthy device for insect bite relief.
If itchiness hasn't reduced after treatment, we recommend applying a second treatment after waiting a few minutes. Factors like how long between the bite appearing and the using heat it® can make the symptoms tougher to reduce and may need more than one treatment.

The treatment lasts between 4 and 10 seconds depending on the mode you choose. Depending on the severity of your bite you may need a second treatment after two minutes.

When is the best time to treat a bite with heat it®?
For best results, apply heat it® immediately after an insect bite. If you apply it immediately, you can often prevent the symptoms altogether, but if you apply it later, the symptoms can subside more quickly.
